I hide in a corner every time someone asks me that question. That's one of the reasons I avoid networking.

I know what my business does BUT it takes me soooo long to explain it and I feel like I'm boring people.

I'm very succinct, people are impressed when I answer that question and typically they want to learn more.

How does your business deliver results?

Every client is different, so on a client by client basis

I have a clear process I go through in my head. So I know what to expect.

I have a clear process and system we follow for our clients to get results. I can even delegate parts or all of the service delivery to other team members or even software.

How overwhelmed are you in your business

I work nights and weekends so that I can fit my client meetings plus working on my business. My business is at capacity even with the team I have (if applicable).

I'm actually doing well. I am managing my client workload and my business workload fairly well. Sometimes if I take time away from work, it can get tricky though.

I'm actually doing great. My business is working smoothly and I am able to focus on new creative projects. We are serving our clients well in a very efficient way.

During a sales call..

People tell me what they need help with and I feel I have to create a unique program for them.

People tell me what they need help with and I give them a menu of our services for them to choose from.

People can easily understand what we offer and it's easy for them to choose (with or without our guidance) the best service for their needs.

Who is your ideal client?

Our services can help a very wide range of people.

We tend to attract a certain type of person, not sure why, but we welcome everybody.

While our services can help a wide range of people, we are 100% focused on attracting one clear "type" of person. Our company's avatar.

When you think about marketing...

Marketing is for big companies. I simply tell people about my business and post stuff on social media.

I post on social media, I sometimes send newsletters. I work HARD on promoting my company and letting people know what it does.

We have a clear strategy to Attract, Nurture & Convert our leads into clients. We know where to find our clients, how to build trust in our market in a systematic way. We know where our clients are coming from.

What is the conversation in your head...

I really don't think I have what it takes. Maybe I'm not cut out for this.

I am doing well, but there's so much to do. Sometimes I feel like getting a full-time job and giving up.

I'm not afraid to try things. Every time I "failed", I learned a great lesson. I'm committed to making this work, even though I don't have all the answers I know I will figure this out!

My TO-DO list is...

Long and all over the place. I feel like I'm spinning my wheels. I actually DO a lot but not sure if any of it matters, to be honest.

Organized but long. Sometimes it feels overwhelming and like throwing spaghetti to the wall.

I am very organized with my TO-DO list. I have systems and processes for consistent action. I'm clear on who is doing what and we have a way to track our progress.

When you think of 5 years from now...

I am winging it. I'm not sure where I will be 30 days from now let alone 5 years.

I'm fairly clear what I want my business to look like in 12 months but I can't imagine my business in 5 years. That feels too far away and a bit overwhelming to be honest.

I know exactly where my business is going. We have a very clear vision for our future.
